At SWIPEBY, our goal is to help the businesses we serve stay relevant, increase revenue, and gain customers. That’s why we’re always looking for ways to make our platform better for operators and consumers. Our IT team led by Sef Baydurcan has just rolled out some fun (well, we think they’re fun) new features.
The first is Self-delivery. We already offer no-commission 3rd party delivery to save operators a lot of money while letting them own customer data and their online brand. But now operators with their own drivers can choose self-delivery. It’s easy to use for the operators because they can quickly switch delivery methods from self-delivery to 3rd party delivery based on the availability of their drivers or other factors.
The second feature is a Fee Management Control Slider. That’s a fancy term for a tool that gives the operator complete control over who pays the fees via a simple slider user interface. An operator simply mouses the slider from 100% store-pay to 100% customer-pay or anywhere in between. And, they can make these adjustments at any time.
The last feature, Multi-Store Management, makes it easy for operators to list the names and addresses of all of their stores so their customers can quickly find the one closest to their current location for quick online ordering. The display is in both a map and a listing. Google stats show the “near me” search request is in heavy demand, so this functionality should be valuable to multi-unit operators.
